End Fitting for Spoolable Reinforced Composite Pipe
OPR can design and manufacture end fittings matching the spoolable reinforced composite pipes. The range of end fittings are 2- 8 inch ID from low to high grade pressure. The installation of these end fittings is rapid and simple with high reliability and good corrosion resistance, insensitive to the cleanliness or ambient temperature.
The types of end fittings are: weldneck end-fitting, flanged end-fitting, midline end-fitting, wedged end-fitting and pipe fittings etc.
End fitting specifications
· Fitting design pressure rating up to 10,000psi
· Size of fitting: 2inch~8inch(DN50~DN200)
Weldneck End-fitting
This end-fitting can be used to weld pipe to other standard components and for the occasion when welded connections are preferred in lieu of bolted connections. Compared to the standard swaging fittings, the connection operation of this weldneck fitting is simple.
Flanged End-fitting
The flanged end-fitting is most often used to connect with other standard pipeline components, such as valves, and other upstream/downstream connections.
· Comply with Flange standards ASME B16.5
· Two types: direct welding type flange and live-sleeve type flange
· The rotary flange is easy to be connected with other flange components.
Midline End-fitting
This type of end-fitting is used to connect two lengths of pipeline together without having an in-termediate flanged or welded points.
· Build-in gas venting system, with high security.
· No welding to connect with flange and bolt during installation.

Wedge Type End-fitting
In view of the fact that the existing offshore pipeline end fitting has poor re-sistance to submarine current and prone to leaking problem, OPR developed a new type of end fitting that is suitable for Non-metallic Pipeline (NMP) for off-shore application. The key component of the end fitting is the wedge part. This NMP end fitting solves the problem. The material is metal and the matching fitting is rigid connection. Such structure can effectively resist the impact of ocean currents, and increase its impact resistance ability 73-86%, which can avoid the leaking problem at maximum。
